Hello all you Megaman fans, this topic is all about discussing anything that relates to megaman, debates, facts, opinions whatever you like I really love megaman and I want to see what other people think of megaman. I just thought since this is off-topic so I thought it would be pretty cool. So every megaman fan is welcome to talk about their favorite games and characters, there will be no judging ok guys. Thank you :D
Megaman is a pretty cool game. I have the anniversary collection for Gamecube. The only thing I hated about megaman was you would have to start the whole level over if you died too many times and i died ALL THE TIME in megaman.
Megaman isn't particulary my favorite, megaman x is my favorite I've played almost all of their games. I also love megaman zero and megaman battle network. but megaman x will always take top in my list :D
I havent played mega man zero, but i played Megaman x 8 for a little bit. My ps2 gameshark helped me with not having to start over when I died :D . I also have a megaman gameboy game. I dont remember what it was called but it was the Megaman from the Megaman NT Warrior cartoon. Hopefully soon ill be using a Megaman X buster to kill zombies if you know which game im talking about ;)
You must mean megaman battle network, its like an RPG game where you use chips and delete viruses. but which one there are 6 games and each one has another similar but different. for example megaman battle network 5 team colonel and team protoman or megaman battle network 6 cybeast gregar and cybeast falzar.

Does anybody in this forum like megaman because I thought I was doing a big favor for them. :(
There arent many gamers that I know of on this forum unfortunately. Even though I don't pay attention to megaman as much as i did during the Gamecube years(still have mine btw :mrgreen: ), I still like it enough to where i came up with this lucid dream plan to fight the megaman bosses from Megaman 1 to Megaman 10(even though I've only played up to megaman 8).
I really appreciate that your replying even if you are the only one, so thanks. Anyway, so you plan on fighting the megaman bosses in a lucid dream, that's really interesting. what about nebula gray from megaman battle network 5, do you plan on fighting him as well? :)

Have you noticed that most megaman music is really awesome, I love most of them its kinda crazy. I can't even name a favorite because there are so much. Hey guitar do you like most of the music of megaman and not just the first megaman, I mean all of the megaman games you've ever played.

I felt the music fit the game but there wasnt anything that stood out to me. Tbh of all the games I've played in my life the only ones that have outstanding gameplay music in my opinion is the Kingdom Hearts series, Dead Rising 2(havent played the other dead risings yet) and the final boss music of Prototype 2. There might be more but I dont have tem all in my head currently
Wow, I never thought that you play kingdom hearts too! Are you like the whole package because if you are then that means that you play sonic(sonic the hedgehog) as well because sonic has a lot of great music to me. :)

Yeah I've played some sonic games and I agree some of the music is pretty good. I like alot of different games(and LOVE kingdom hearts), but I dont know if I'd consider myself a "whole package" if by that you mean I've played almost every type of game out there.
No I only meant that you and I may love the same games or "we have a lot in common" sort of thing, that's what I meant by the "whole package" thing, sorry if I mislead you by the way, but yeah these are my favorite games, sonic, megaman and kingdom hearts. Of course I am always open to try other games like spiderman or scribblenauts or darkstalkers perhaps. But when it comes to call of duty or fifa or any type of football(soccer) game, no thanks because **in my opinion **I think these games are uncreative and stupid.

Ok I see now. And yeah I agree with your about call of duty and sports games. I have 1 Call of duty game and a few sports games and I dont even play them anymore unless a friend comes over. As for my top game favorites, mine are Kingdom Hearts, Guitar Hero(which inspired me to become a guitar player), and the 3rd one I'd have to say would be a tie between inFamous, Prototype and Dead Rising, but just like you I'm open for other games.

P.S.S. Since you like sonic have you ever seen any youtube videos by shadow759? If not you should check him out cause his sonic videos(especially the gmod ones) are pretty funny

Yeah that could work. Also if you ever wanna try to live chat I made a live chat room a while ago for this forum, but nobody really went to it except for one or two people. I havent heard of it, but since it's for iphone...yeah it doesnt sound that good. iphone is no psp or 3ds or even gameboy. I actually dont like iphones cause I find touchscreens annoying and I dont really need/want the internet with me everywhere I go

Thank god you don't like iphones because this game is the worst. Everyone hates it, the fans were waiting for a new megaman game for a long time and Capcom does this?! :evil: Seriously, ever since they fired Inafune Keiji they were in hot water. Inafune Keiji is the creator of megaman and for no good reason they fired him. Now Keiji started his own company called Comcept. I don't know any games from this company but I hope he does well.
I actually heard a rumor that Capcom is going bankrupt if Dead Rising 3 doesnt sell very much.
Bankrupt huh? well that's what they deserve for making a crappy game anyway. By the way how's your lucid dreaming, r u making progress, did you have your first one yet and if you did what was it like? Because mine was really nice, I didn't do anything that I always wanted but it was a start for me. Right now I'm planning to learn how to use the WILD technique. So I can lucid dream whenever I want, the thought of it just gives me Goosebumps :mrgreen:
Meh, so far Ive only been getting them once a month. and this month I havent gotten any yet. But, I feellike im getting super close based on the dreams Ive been havning lately. Plus I have a plan for my next lucid dream that I hope will help me get more. The next time I become lucid again I'm gonna ask my dream "How do i become lucid again?" and see what the dream does. And just so I dont forget(I sometimes forget to do what Ive planned in a dream), I've been using B-MILD and instead of a normal mantra like "I will have a lucid dream" I say "(inhale)I will ask the dream (exhale)how to be lucid again". Ever since i started that i now have some dreams where I am about do realize im dreaming, then something in the dream distracts me Then just recently I came up with this idea to become lucid in reality as many times as possible and I also added a mantra that I do before Dream #2 and Dream #3. which is simply "I am lucid" for each breath. I started this 2 days ago and the night i started I had a dream where a reality check failed, which to me is a sign that I might be close.
My first lucid dream, which was over a year and half ago, was probably the most fun of them all. Looking back at it i feel I may have lost lucidity at some parts but it's still a great story. I got to use powers from Prototype and inFamous and I had an invisible keyblade, cause the dream wouldnt spawn it in my hand. I even killed an evil soldier on a skyscraper by hitting him with a pillow, causing him to lose his balance and fall off :twisted:. Nowadays I try to use powers or materialize weapons into my hand. But nothing ever works except flying and super jumping. Then after I fail my attempt I start to lose the dream.
My ultimate lucid dream goal is to weild all my favorite game powers and weapons and to become best friends with my favorite fictional characters.
Wow this mantra sounds really useful I think ill try it tonight. Because lately I haven't dreamed for a while because the problem is I get comfortable easily and I can see that I am losing feeling in my body but then one part of my body annoys me so I have to move a bit, and that happens a lot. Also sometimes when I try too sleep I don't sleep. I only sleep when I don't even know it, so how am I supposed to concentrate on lucid dreaming if I cant put myself to sleep?
P.S: I want to do the same in my lucid dreams, I thought I should ask my subconscious how to lucid dream easier, it could save me a lot of trouble :mrgreen: And I always wanted to race with sonic the hedgehog, fight Omega zero(from megaman zero 3), and use the oblivion keyblade. I LOVE these fantasies! :mrgreen:

This is how I get to sleep at night! But Ive been getting vivid non-lucid dreams every night(especially after the first time I wake up) because of the mantras ive chosen for B-MILD.
P.S. I think I just had a quick lucid dream this morning! And in it I Tails and Classic Tails from Sonic Generations were trying to help me shoot fireballs from my hands(normal Tails actually shot a fireball). I still need more practice.
Ah tails is a very good friend indeed, but can you explain to me what is B-MILD because I know MILD and WILD technique but B-MILD is the first time I've heard of it. And when you said "This is how I get to sleep at night!" do you mean I cant use the same mantra? :?

Oh no, what i meant by that was I too take a while to fall asleep because I have to move a few times, and I fall asleep when I dont know it. I just found it interesting that someone else actually has the same issue as me. So sorry for the confusion. Feel free to use the mantras I use.
B-MILD, from what Highlander has told me, is where you do MILD, but when you do a mantra you sync it with your breathing. So for example you would Inhale "I will realize..." then exhale "...I'm dreaming".

I know exactly how that feels. I've had my experience of people giving me awkward reactions and even had a guy flip out on me(eventually I found out he's a jerk to everyone), just because I said something I thought was ok :? And there's no way I'd want anyone else to feel that awkwardness cause in the end I'll feel bad.

No, I dont have a crush on any game characters :lol: but about a year before I knew what lucid dreaming was I did want to take control of my dreams to try to make my own dream anime girls :roll: .
Wow, we really do have a lot in common, people these days are really judgmental and expect too much from people, why cant they act like themselves and respect everyone instead of trying to prove that their dominant over the other. Don't you think so?

And since you wanted to create your dream anime girls, that means you watch some anime, can ya give me one or three examples of what you watch because I also watch anime. I've seen a lot over the years but their really great I never watch them in English because it is too horrible to watch. Always watch them in Japanese my friend, always.

The only anime I ever watched was G1 Yugioh, G1-G4 Pokemon(if that counts), Season 1 of Bakugan(again, if that counts), a few episodes of Code Geass, and the first episode of Bleach. I joined an anime club during my sophmore year to try to like more anime. We watched Fruit Baskets and some anime where everyone's name was a country, I forgot it's name but I didnt find either of them so great.
So, just out of curiosity, why is the english version of anime bad?
I love yugioh too, I watched the first season and yugioh gx but ill never watch yugioh 5D because I think its worse than the previous seasons.
Anyway, why the English version is bad? Well they kinda say stupid things or may change something about it, for example, since you know the rules of yugioh, this scene is from yugioh gx(in the English version) it started with one of the opponents said "well I guess im gonna win this one" and the other one said "oh yeah, how so" and then he attacks directly and wins. I am saying what the hell? your field is wide open and the opponent has a monster strong enough to eliminate you, why would anyone say such a thing? In the Japanese version they didn't say anything and he just attacked directly, that's more logical in my opinion. Here's another example, (yugioh gx English version) one of the main characters steps in to face his opponent and his opponent is a really huge buff guy which sounds like a little child and talks like a child, how ridiculous is that, in the Japanese version his voice is just right, manly and everything. One more example, if you've seen digimon, the English version changes the music and names of the anime whereas different in the Japanese version, I don't like it when they do that because the music in digimon is much better in Japanese. So I hate the English version because they make it look like a little kid's show and I think the voices in Japanese is so much better, so there you go. :mrgreen:

Oh yeah, I actually remember feeling the same way with some kingdom hearts english lines. Before Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance came out I watched the trailers all the time. Actually I do that with every game that I really want that isnt mine yet :lol: . And when the english trailer came out there were some lines I was like "...That's it?". But if I had to choose between japanese and english language for my Made-in-Japan games I would pick english just cause I like my games speaking the language I understand
Of course, it's natural to choose the language you understand but I'd choose Japanese because their voices are better and as long they have subtitles so I can understand them. Don't get me wrong it's not like I wish everything is in Japanese, it's just that I don't want anyone to change the original language into something else. Because when you hear goofy and Donald talking in Japanese you will feel really weird. :lol: Everything should be in their own original language because you will always be disappointed when you want to watch a funny show that was originally in English but you found out it's in German or some other language you don't understand.

Yeah, I'm also the type of person who likes to "keep it original". Except for Rock music cause I like all the different types of it we have today(but I think 80's metal is the best compared to today's new stuff).

Hey I'm a little curious, since you've seen yugioh before have you played any of it's games or do you have a deck of your own. Because if you do have a deck tell me what type and style it has, that'll be interesting. :)

I have over 800 yugioh cards, not counting my brother's deck or my old deck. My deck was horrible. I only won 1 real game in my entire career. My deck didnt have a particular style I just chose random monsters, magics and traps that I liked. When I played my brother at home we'd make up our own rules, like have as many cards as we like(as long as the deck doesnt fall over) or ritual cards didnt need a ritual summon. Eventually it got to the point where we didnt even have life points. We'd just play til one of us wanted to do something else :roll: .

That was really good, that song was spectacular and you looked very cool while doing those moves you really are good with the guitar, seriously I really loved it man. :D So as that drummer he aint bad himself.

Well I have some leftover cards, I don't know how much exactly, but I have three decks and they all are dragon decks. I always loved the Dragon type its my favorite 8-) But each of them are different, one of them is a dark dragon deck. Another one is my newest deck, its unexplainable, it is more like a dragon deck but.... well its almost random but like I said its unexplainable. And the third deck which was my first and most powerful deck of them all, of course its also my favorite deck because its main style is to summon powerful dragons instantly, I've done it before more than once I have filled the field with 5 dragons and simply eliminated my opponent, if the monsters would come out from the cards and look real, it would be freakin epic! :mrgreen:

I only know I have over 800 cards because last summer I tried to sell my pokemon and yugioh cards on ebay to get money for the PS4(which I can buy now once Infamous Second Son comes out! :mrgreen: , now I just need money for the Xbox One :| ). No one wanted to buy my yugioh cards :( but I did manage to sell some pokemon cards, including a Chrizard Ex for $70. Also maybe you should have a yugioh duel in your next lucid dream and the monsters come to life just like in the show. And make your opponent one of the yugioh villains so you can save the world :lol: Course you may be tempted to cheat and put the god cards or Exodia at the top of your deck :lol:
Please, I don't plan on fighting those losers. I plan to fight the strongest of the strongest. I won't cheat of course because I am faithful to my deck and the god cards and exodia are not my style. I plan to duel with yugi and kaiba fair and square, but the problem with the anime is that yugi would have lost many times but the dude cheated, he mostly uses cards that aren't real just so he can win :lol: In my dream I'm gonna let yugi have a normal deck and let the dream take care of the rest, while I will expect what card to draw and get the card I need for any situation :mrgreen: because if you haven't noticed they do the same in the anime so I'm playing fair and square.

I haven't had a successful one yet but I just got started yesterday so it's too early for me to say anything. But they say it is highly effective and easy to learn, they even say those who use this technique have lucid dreams on a daily basis. I guess because it is a hybrid of WILD and DILD(at least that's what they say) Anyway the link I just sent you contains details of the technique and how to use it and what precautions you should take, so good luck. :D

Heh, you think yours is bad, try using my computer without going insane. I had 3 ad windows pop up while getting to this post and it took them maybe 15 seconds of stopping the browser to actually pop up, and another 15 seconds to successfully x them out. Sometimes the ads will make internet explorer stop responding and I have x out all IE windows. And if that's not bad enough if I have 2 windows(or even 1 depending on what's going on) with too much activity going on my computer will turn off and it takes a whole 5 freakin minutes to turn it back on and continue whatever I was doing. I personally blame the Garry's Mod and Steam my brother downloaded on this computer because that was the last thing that was downloaded on this computer and ever since then this computer has been retarded. I think he also get's Gmod stuff from devianart which i have no idea if virus' can come from that.

I haven't had a successful one yet but I just got started yesterday so it's too early for me to say anything. But they say it is highly effective and easy to learn, they even say those who use this technique have lucid dreams on a daily basis. I guess because it is a hybrid of WILD and DILD(at least that's what they say) Anyway the link I just sent you contains details of the technique and how to use it and what precautions you should take, so good luck. :D
I tried this for months last year. It worked on the first try, but as usual, it would only work every once in a while. However, last month I had 3 lucid dreams and one of my B-MILD mantras was part of all of them. 2 of them were because I did a brief SSILD cycle. Im also trying to influence one of my dream themes to appear and make me become lucid because Ive noticed that some of my dreams get the same setting or plot every now and then
Wow, I don't know what to say. :| I thought I had problems but you go on a whole new level :lol:
But are you sure you've done the SSILD correctly because it requires you to sleep 5-6 hours and you have to continue practicing this technique. And if you are expecting to lucid dream or looking forward to it that will negate it because you are too excited or something.(just trying to help) ;)
