How long does it take you to drift off?
Im wondering if its normal for me to take ages to drift off. Sometimes I go to bed very tired, I can relax my body, but it will still take hours before I actually drift off. Sometimes it can be mentally exhausting, I know some friends who take a while as well but I also know some who fall asleep the second their head hits the pillow.
So yeah, how long does it usually take for you to drift off?
In the past I could on a really good night remain awake all night with a head full of thoughts, now it is rare for this to happen and less that 10 minutes to get to sleep and a lot of the time 2 to 5 minutes. I had to learn to relax and let the thougths go and that took me most of my life
It takes me over 10 minutes.. but I've learned more ways to make it shorter! ^^ I have a create imagination, so when I close my eyes I think and imagine a whole world/story of my own. Usually why thinking, keeping my eyes closed, I sleep without even knowing it! What also helps is a sleeping mask. The only problem is that they make it harder for you to wake up; and maybe a few pills can help!

HA! This works so good!
Hard to time, usually as soon as I've laid down and gotten comfortable, so under 2 minutes.

Dang you must be a heavy sleeper or something o: I wish that would happen for me.
On average it takes me 1 to 4 hours to drift off and it can be very exhausting usually ruining half my weekend by me sleeping till 11AM
On average 15 minutes. but when atempting WILD probably 2 minutes

Unless I'm extremely exhausted, I usually have so many thoughts racing through my head that it can take an hour or two sometimes. Now I've learned to be more calm and not engage so many thoughts so I can fall asleep relatively quickly, but sometimes I can't control them.
