I haven't ever become lucid yet. So, I tried the WILD technique. I relax myself and then focus on the weight of my body. After some time I become partially numb and my body starts to have a weird sensation of spinning wildly in different ways. But even then I can move my body if I try and I still hear the outside sounds. I find it hard to fall asleep. Also, when this sensation comes I amplify it and then try to get out of my bed in a dream but instead end up getting up for real. Have I reached sleep paralysis? How do I fall asleep consciously? Pls help.

Hey there! Wake up 3-4 hours before you wake up in the morning.

Count your breaths till a hundred.

Focus on the patterns behind your eyelids. But not too much. Your eyelids should not be stiff and your eyes should not be strained.

Watch as the patterns turn into clearer and clearer images. Think of them as clouds, make out objects, and they will turn full color.

Do NOT! I mean NEVER try to move your body to check if you're paralyzed!

Think hard of the scenery you want to be in, and take the hypnogogia as a helper. Try to make out objects of your scenery FROM the hypnogogia, and soon it will be so clear that you'll be able to look around!

P. S. Do a reality check!

Hope this helps!

I tried, but it failed. But, this time, my legs and hands started going numb and had weird feelings. But still not lucid, though.

Started feeling kinda numb hands and legs. Spinning sensation. Also one more thing. I did this during evening/sunset. May be that's why I didn't fall asleep. I should try it with WBTB.
