Hey everyone

Shane at Dreamzog (www.dreamzog.com) has developed some neat user-friendly software for the PC which records, filters and analyzes your dreams to improve recall and aid lucid dreaming. He designed it to have features above and beyond anything you'll find in other digital journals. In the process of bringing it to market he'd like to get some user feedback, from lucid dreamers and non-lucid dreamers.

If you'd like to get a free copy of the Dreamzog software, please reply below and Shane will be in touch. It's important you're committed to trialing all its features and providing genuine feedback via a 5-10 minute survey (plus any other specific feedback or testimonials for his website, if you choose).

I too will be testing the software and plan to write a review at World of Lucid Dreaming if it's something I'd recommend to my readers. I've never really endorsed digital journaling before but Shane has created enough intriguing features geared to lucid dreaming and improving the depth and quality of your dream recall that I think it is worth looking into.

Please only volunteer if you have the time to dedicate to digital dream journaling for at least a week or two to give sufficient user feedback. And know that your contribution is extremely valuable to the development of this product which could one day also be available on iPhone/Android.

Thanks dreamers ;)

Hello ;)
I'm interested in giving it a good work out. I'm an experienced lucid dreamer (on the mortalmist lucid forums), but have neglected any practice in recent years due to a busy lifestyle. Now i'm sitting at home pregnant with a bit of time and desire to return to Lucid practices.

A question about the software;

  • What is the privacy or censoring like on there? My dreams often have questionable content which i don't mind writing for the sake of analysis, however i'd like to be able to keep those bits private from certain people and non-adult eyes. If there is no censoring available, i'm also willing to simply keep my writing style discrete.

I very much like the idea of using my iPhone eventually too. If there is any way utilize this i will.

Looking forward to working with you guys. :)

Count me in! I'm journaling my dreams every day on my computer, on both software and forums. Also, I have lucid dreams weekly so I'm very curious about the lucid dreaming aid! I tried out many software programs and I have a blog of my own, so I'm prepared to give a review.

If the software is available for mac, I think my boyfriend wants to try it out too. Same like me, he's a daily dream journalist and experienced lucid dreamer too. :)

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for showing an interest in my software. I will be selecting people for the trial shortly and will PM or email you with the details.

Does Dreamzog run on a Mac?

Currently Dreamzog only works on a PC running Windows, so unfortunately it wont work for Mac users. It is possible to emulate a windows system on a Mac in order to run the program (or so I've heard) but that's another issue all together and I don't know much about it. I've had a lot of requests from Mac users so sorry guys, but at the moment it is too difficult to release it for a Mac but I will consider it in the future.

Don't worry about this, anything you actually write into the program is for your eyes only. The program does not transfer any data away from your computer whatsoever (apart from when you register the program it needs to confirm your computer ID). No personal information is shared. Also, you can set a password on your journal so others using the same computer cannot access your records. Once you've trialed the program for a little while you will be asked to fill in an online survey regarding your experiences as mentioned by Rebecca. This information will be for improvement of the program and for marketing purposes and you do not need to personally identify yourself, unless you want to include this as part of your testimonial.

As mentioned, serious testers only.

If anyone has any questions, please give me a shout. You can also contact me from the website directly if you prefer.

Thanks Guys, Shane

Hello Shane

Yes I would love to trial Dreamzog if I may please!

I already keep an online record of my dreams in the lucidipidia website, but would switch over to this if im selected, have been keeping my dreams logged for about 14 days now, really interesting, really exciting and with a bit of luck, hopefully will assist in a lucid dream expeariance:) Tell a lie, ive had one since I started logging, so 1 lucid dream in 14 days, not amazing amazing but im happy, as logging on a basic level has had some effect, brought an end to my 3 months dry spell shall I say. Would be a pleasure to try out your new software sounds cool, please keep me posted.

ps. Not working at this moment in time so have loooooooads of time on my hands.

Cheers Rebecca

I would need more information on, like how much space it takes up and is it compatible with windows xp, also how does it work? Do i hook brainwaves monitors to my head while i sleep?
