hello, anybody know anything about vitamin B6 inhancing lucid dreams?
Yup! B6 can help increase vividness in dreams thus helping recall. So it can help you get lucid via DILD. Besides that, it can be fun having vivid dreams. Vividness creates recall and the more you remember the better chances of getting lucid. Like when you're there it's live but when you wake up you "recall" the dream.

I tried B_6. For me, it increases the vividness of dreams and the chance of becoming lucid. However, I found that the capacity to recall these dreams decreased. The memory of these B_6 dreams seems somehow blurry to me. But I will continue to experiment with it.
By the way, does anyone have experience with DMAE or Coleus-leaves? Both are as far as I know not scheduled (at least in Germany...)

I just bought some vitamin B6 supplements to try and have more vivid dreams. However, the pharmacist told me only to take them at a meal.
This probably won't do any good when i'm trying to have more vivid dreams, seeing i always eat around 6:30 PM...
Is it harmful to take supplements on an empty stomach?

I went ahead and just tried it.
I have 250 mg vitamin B6 capsules. For the first time, i just broke one in half, ending up with 125 mg ofcourse, and took it right before i went to bed.
I'm rather dissapointed, my dreams were not more vivid than other dreams and i can barely remember what happened.
Maybe i should try the whole 250 mg next time?
Could you tell me the function of it?
Having tried this myself i can tell you that taking one or two B6 tablets a day, REALLY helps dream recall, and through improving dream recall, it appears to make the dreams more vivid as well, although this may just be a result of remembering more of the detail.. either way it definitely helps..
I would suggest also taking them just before going to bed as well, gives that bit more of an effect.

what doses do you usually take?
The ones I take are actually not pure B6 capsules. I bought them at a drug store here in Norway, They consists of different types of vitamin B (in one capsule). It's only 2 mg B6, because I've also read that it can be harmful to take too much of it. If I gradually get a little B6 daily, it should work. :)
