Hello there. :D

This is a thread, where you can set goals, and share them! Maybe it's the first or next Lucid dream, or something you wants to do in your next LD. Non-Lucid dream goals are also welcome (e.g. I'll remember least 2 dreams tonight).

Okay, my goal is to have my first Lucid Dream in September 2011 (this month) ;)

Happy dreams!

Plan of action for the next DILD or WILD:

1 - Wish to see a painting that will illustrate a previous experience where I perambulated a city with statues of cats and "feline" building structures. I will then recreate the painting in waking life.

2 - Go to Betfred (where I work) and get the hang of placing the most complicated bets whilst delivering great customer service and dealing with the most challenging situations. Get a bit of practice and confidence here as it is the first time I work in the gaming industry.

3 - Revisit a heavenly realm such as the "Summerland" one in Theosophy and Spiritualism. I want to see a world of bright colours, beautiful landscape, and harmony, love and magic conveyed.

4 - Revisit an Indian guru I met once in a dream where I became enlightened. I want to ask this guru about the pre-birth state. Perhaps I could even meet him in Summerland.

5 - Manifest a vortex or translocate by blinking to a parallel universe and see a different history (what could have been).

6 - Visit my friend Gerald and see what number he has written on a piece of paper (experiment). The idea of this experiment is to see if lucid dreams can enable telepathy between people. If I get the number right then it is either telepathy or an amazing coincidence!

7 - Explore any random world that I encounter and try to get as much sensory input in lucidity as possible.

I'll try to do all of that in one or two lucid dreams. Usually, having a plan of action can help to prolong the phase state (besides techniques such as spinning and rubbing hands). Constant action and avoiding pauses and hesitation is ideal. I will remember the above by thinking CBS/GP/GE.

C = "Cat City" painting B = Betfred S = Summerland G = Guru P = Parallel universe G = Gerald's number experiment E = Exploration of random dream scenery (oneironaut action)

Okay, I had an amazing lucid night last night. I tried to fly, but I couldn't. I even created some big, amazing angle wings. But I don't give up! :D But I did one of my other goals; Walking on the water! Yay!

On my first flight as a kid I jumped from a building. I know is scary but of course, it's only a dream. Since then, flying isn't hard.

Have you tried jumping from something high instead of just taking off?

Another idea is to run down a steep hill and jump forward. I'm a paraglider pilot and it's often what we do to launch so it feels natural to do so in a dream (to me anyway).

It might be a lot less scary than just free falling until you fly.

FYI- real life paragliding has pretty much the same sensation as dream flying.

Good luck.

Thank you guys! I'll try it out in my next lucid dream! :D I think I just have to believe I can, then things will be easier. I'll let you know when it happens!

Good luck to you as well! You all :)
