DC question
This is more or less both a mind screw question as well as a serious one, but what if we are the dream characters? A product of someone else's mind that hasn't woken up yet.

But if we were in a dream right now, I think we'd be able to do reality checks and such. Be able to bend the laws of reality with our sheer force of will.
That may be true but what if it isn't our reality to bend? I am not really certain on this one, but it would be a rather interesting twist if we were merely the product of a dream concocted by someone with a very vivid imagination.
True, because OUR DC's can't perform RC's to question reality. Very interesting indeed ... and frightening.

I have played around quite a bit with this reality and from my experiments do believe we carry the power to alter it some (but there is also a "group consciousness" , many creating the reality, which helps keep it stable eg we cant flew like birds cause the group consciousness keeps that from happening, we also cant usually alter it instantly like we can do in dreams either).
I once did this reality experiment (after reading about yogis who just manifested their needs) where I went interstate to a state where i knew noone personally at all, with no money, very little food with me (i had a small container of potato salad and some poporn) and with the goal to create all my needs while there....somewhere to stay, food to eat etc etc. (kind of like a do or die situation by throwing myself in the deep end like that, I didnt even have the money for a taxi to get out of the airport). The rule I laid on myself, was that I didnt ask anyone for anything or tell them I was in a bad situation with nothing on me, I wouldnt beg, I wouldnt steal.. just manifest situations for the things I needed using my thoughts (just like we do with our LDs).
It turned out to be one heck of an interesting experiment, it was highly successful (strangely nothing at all failed!! So i think I was actually also being shown how this could work by my higher self or something else), I ended up with free gormet meals, nice places to stay etc etc. I even ended up coming home with gifts of things people out of the blue gave to me (things I'd wanted, I came home with 3 DVDS and almost an expensive emerald ring, I'd refused to accept the ring thou as I think it had been stolen so that put me in a moral dipelma even thou I manifested so I could have it.. a person being chased by cops tried to palm it off onto me. It had been indential looking to an emerald ring, I'd been admiring and wanting in a shop window the day before). There really is something going on here.
I realise that my 4 day? manifestation experiment experience would seem too far out for people here but it certainly helped stabilise my views on this reality and how we can alter it.
